Got a sad update. An old friend went off the deep end after 2016, severing contact with everyone who wasn’t a TFG follower. She then lost her job, followed by her wife and kids due to her sudden and hostile extremism.
Found out today she’s continuing down the rabbit hole, won’t let her (new) kids see Little Mermaid because of a non-binary character, and is now a rabid flat earther.
Made me very sad.
@kay_dub Once you fall into that particular rabbit hole, it's impossible to escape.
Then, you end up in jail.
Have walked away from several long-term friends who went insane.
@LnzyHou @SSNBubblehead @kay_dub Oh I know how that is. I lost a long time friend to that MAGA disease. I put up with her crazy talk until she said Democrats and Biden were kidnapping children and eating them. That was the last straw! And she's an RN, can you believe that?!
