I could use some help with dog advice. My dog started limping this morning on our walk. I checked his paws for splinters and didnt find anything. I took him to the vet and they said they didnt find any broken bones. Hes older (maybe 13) and has a heart murmur (5/6). Im hoping its just a muscle injury and it will heal, but his limping on his front right leg was scary. He was hopping around, but still wanted to walk. Hes eating and drinking as usual. Is he just getting old?

@SavetheSeacow my Jack Russell had same symptoms … Limping got worse over the weekend, as did his discomfort. Turned out to be foxtail seed, insidious little things, embedded in between paw pads. It was removed and antibiotics given. Still took a couple of days to heal.
