Nov. 10th, 1975, the great lakes freighter "Edmund Fitzgerald" sank during a vicious storm on Lake Superior. All hands, 29 crew, were lost. Gordon Lightfoot wrote this, now classic, song about this tragedy. #CoSoMusic https://youtu.be/FuzTkGyxkYI
@Daryl_Knee I was alive in 1975 (couldn't read yet but I was alive) and I only learned a few years ago that this song was based on a true story.
