So I (re)signed up for Counter Social, upgraded to Pro & downloaded the iPad OS app only to receive this error @status (which surprised me). I have an iPad Pro & I am surprised the iPad app not only does not work on the Pro but the app does not support landscape mode. Will there be a fix for thisβ€½

There's no "iPad app", it's an iPhone app as I've been given to understand. I just use the web interface.

@mcfate @status Yeah, it’s listed on the App Store as having an iPad app & it launches as one too (it just does not work).

That is okay as I can access Counter Social from the Mastodon iPad app.

Regardless of what the App Store tells you, it's not an iPad app, that's been my understanding. And I wouldn't rely on the Mastodon app, either, our code base has drifted a good distance from stock Mastodon.

@mcfate I think @status should update the iOS listing as it is clearly presented as compatible with iPad (as this video screenshot I recorded shows).

It probably should be updated so that it lists iPhone only, unless they plan on creating an iPad app in the future.

That said, I enjoy the stock Mastodon app as it supports the iPad (which I am using now to type this upon Counter Social).
