Sitting here thinking about how much better society would be if the so called justice system held rapists like Weinstein, Trump, and Cosby accountable.
The NYC justice system continues to be an embarrassment.
If you seriously have to ask why so many sexual assault victims take years or decades to speak out against their abusers, it's because nine times out of ten, their abuser is someone who surrounds themselves with powerful individuals.
The fact that a person can win the popular vote and still not become president is bonkers.

Every time I see super religious folks try to sell me on the idea of believing in god = eternal bliss, I just want to say “Look, I take no joy in finding out that god doesn’t exist and that life is meaningless. But I’m trying my best to make the most of life because our time on this planet is short.”
I’m a stark atheist, but even I cringe at the people who use gendered pronouns to refer to god.
Bonus points if the person who is referring to god as “her” is a white dude.
