Do you have a favorite poet?
One of mine is Adrienne Rich. She lived near me but passed away ~10 years ago. I used to love to hear her recitals at the Capitola Book Cafe & Gateways, both are now closed
Hearing her recital of Diving Into the Wreck was mesmerizing. Many of her essays & poetry had to do with the struggle for equal rights for women, particularly lesbians
