I love writing. I love creating stories and going on adventures with my characters. I don't particularly appreciate losing interest in the story, which has now happened with Ghost Book 2. I knew this would happen the moment another one started poking at me. I hoped I could hold it off, but when a plot element for the 2nd one popped up, I knew I had to put Ghost Book 2 away for a while.

@DarkeConteur I had this problem too. I probably had 4 or 5 WIPS that I would get obsessed about for periods of time, but I knew I would never finish any of them. 2 years ago I decided that I would focus on one one, and I would finish it. I think my writing is much better by committing to just one story, instead of jumping around from obsession to obsession. I think more deeply about it, and dive deeper into my characters.

@DanIsWriting I wish I had your focus. It isn't even the distractions that pull me away either. I can handle that. I think that's why I outline all my projects; so I can keep focused on them and keep working on them.

@DarkeConteur my secret is that I have no focus. I have to be super vigilant about it. I'm lucky thought, in the sense that what I'm writing about is the one thing that my mind cant stop thinking about, even when I'm not writing.
