@CriticalCupcake
I don't think I understand the use of stopping time so I'll fly

@CriticalCupcake I would much rather be able to stop time. Being able to stop time would give you the ability to accomplish a lot more than being able to do something a helicopter could do.

@CriticalCupcake
I can fly
Time is created by consciousness, so I wouldn't want to end that

@BrentSullivan @CriticalCupcake

Time isn't created by consciousness.

If it were dependent on consciousness, everything would stop when there's nobody around. You know there was nobody around for billions of years, right?

Give us _some_ credit. The universe did stay up, after all. We wouldn't have made time dependent on you keeping track of it!

; )

@AskTheDevil @CriticalCupcake
Nope
Time is a construct of consciousness

Oh, and that tree in the forest that fell? It made the air vibrate, but if no one was there, there were only vibrations, no sound.

Sight, sound, taste, touch, position, time, are all mental constructs we use to make sense of things. They are not the things themselves

@BrentSullivan @CriticalCupcake Your perception of time is a construct of consciousness.

I know human philosophers of various stripes say that time comes from consciousness, but I feel like that comes from some form of conceit.

Time happens whether anyone's looking or not.

@AskTheDevil @CriticalCupcake
There's really no way of knowing that, is there?
😆😂🤣

@CriticalCupcake How do more people not _answer_ these questions? These are great!
