@CriticalCupcake Well, here's how I'd start: end all fossil fuel subsidies. Fullstop, no exceptions.
It would absolutely annihilate the O&G industry in most places.
@CriticalCupcake I'd then have the money which was previously going to fossil fuel subsidies put into nuclear reactor construction - specifically heavy water reactors like the CANDU, because they're very flexible with fuel choice. They can run on natural, unenriched uranium... and they can even handle having thorium mixed into the fuel.
The whole world would wind up nuclear-powered in a few decades.
