A giant Marquee on the lawn of the Officers Mess with one concrete path.
Event almost over, teams are clearing tables and the National Anthem is played, all servers are stationary, 1 staff member drops the stack of plate on that one bit of path.
Major blushing happens.

In a large auditorium at the Nat'l Institute of Standards, my cell phone rang in the middle of a key presentation for the conference. Maybe not that loud decibel-wise but to me it seemed like an intruder alarm went off.
@CriticalCupcake I dropped my bodhran once in a "moment of silence" during the prayers at a church service. Not embarrassing at all 😆
