At a family (hub's side) gathering.
Told my drunk brother in law, in front of his parents, that he was an alcoholic with morbid death phobia, because I was tired of listening to him go off. I was thinking it but really didn't intend to say it out loud.
@CriticalCupcake - I ran an auto repair shop in the 00s. Someone called and said, "I have a Mazda Navaho," and I replied, "Oh, you're the one!"
Awkward silence.
(It turned out ok, just too soon)
