@CriticalCupcake Yeah. I’m now 52, she’s 77 and has dementia which has only made her more judgmental, angry, bitter… I decided to move back to New Mexico to help my brother care for her cause I do love her but fuck she makes it hard.

I left the church emotionally when I was 9 and physically at 18. I was 12 or 13 when I discovered Greek mythology and 16 when I learned about Wicca. All of those made more sense to me than Catholicism ever did.
@see_the_sus @CriticalCupcake I never could adapt to Christianity. At age 30 I discovered Wicca. It was like coming home.
