Congress should use the lame duck session to jam up McCarthy as much as possible. In particular they should remove the debt ceiling BS that Republicans always use to try to crash the economy. And advance voting rights legislation. We're about to enter 2 years of stupid "investigations" that go nowhere. Do something meaningful in the remaining months.
@Committovote I found the j6 hearings beneficial. I completely understand that Republicans are famous for investigations that go nowhere. I think both the Senate and the House need to ditch the filibuster, ditch the electoral college, do ranked voting (it worked in Alaska and Maine). In addition, the Senate and House need to get rid of archaic parliamentary rule which no longer work in the 21st Century. Then maybe we can get somewhere.
