@peeppeepcircus I don't read it that way. It's not social media bubble level advocacy, but it's extremely anti-Trump.

Consider the second to last sentence of the article:

"In fact it is reasonable to describe Mr Trump’s violent authoritarian politics of xenophobia, nostalgia and contempt for the law as a modern iteration of fascism, and if elected he may do permanent damage to American democracy."

ok. i still do see it differently, that they are minimizing it, especially with the last sentence as well as the headline. and it's not just the economist doing it.
