@thedisasterautist The increase is at night, and Florida is experiencing a significant increase in pedestrian deaths, but the sharp increase since 2010 is likely due to multiple factors, such as smartphone use.
@Coctaanatis: Stupid smartphones. Here in the Carolinas I see it a lot, as well as when I'm in Chicago, Austin, and LA. It's nuts. People even get similarly distracted when they have the hands-free, and I'm like... "HOW?!"
