One thing experience from the last few decades has taught us is that a heavily armed society isn't a safer or more polite society. It's one with right-wing militias and frequent school shootings where a child is more likely to die from a gunshot than any other cause.

@Jadedragon469 I think of social media as being akin to a party. I'm not there to deal with some bigot who wants to tell me about how (insert hated racial/ethnic group) are ruining the world or about how if I don't subscribe to their religion I'm going to Hell. There are platforms for that, but social media shouldn't be required to provide them with one.
Content moderation is key to a healthy social media environment, but it's labor intensive and Elon is all about cutting labor costs.
