CounterSocial is an accepting, inclusive, and good-natured community, and it has remained that way with few exceptions for almost seven years.

Each of us has a responsibility to keep it that way. Here are some handy to consider:

1. Think about what you're posting and why. Does it contribute? Or does it divide?

2. Use the tools. Some people are simply disagreeable. Make them disappear.

3. Let it scroll on by. You can't control what others post. You can only control how you react.

@CoSoTips Also, if you feel like you're surrounded by a bunch of negative atmosphere, it might just be that a small number of people are particularly flatulent personalities.

If you see someone not playing fair, block them. You'll probably have to do it hardly at all.
