Have an ultrasound for a lump in my neck today. Hoping it's something, if only to explain the issues.
It's on or around my thyroid gland, which makes swallowing difficult and makes me talk like a 50 a day Marlboro (similar brands are available) smoker with laryngitis - so much for my aspirations to want to return to voiceover.
Also been feeling very tired, unmotivated, and very tired.
At least I finally got my car back; £500... somebody's not buying a Steam Deck...😐
@Clavius_42 This is the moment where things start to get better, if for no other reason that you'll find know what is going on.
@Clavius_42 Hopefully it's just a nodule, but if it's big enough to mess with your voice and your swallowing, it can also mess with your thyroid hormones, which might explain the fatigue.
Good luck with it, hopefully you'll get some answers and more importantly, they'll be able to do something to fix it!

@Clavius_42 Hope your news includes a fully recoverable diagnosis for the lump. It sounds like a thyroid issue. My wife had a partial thyroidectomy due to a nodule. Full recovery.
