Just unsubscribed from the Star Wars sub-reddit and reminded myself of why I don't engage with fandoms on public forums, with the exception of a few here and the fediverse. Don't watch if you don't like it, you entitled, projecting fucking cretins.

@Clavius_42 All fandoms seem to have an element of this and after a few experiences I just don’t get involved anymore. Often it’s people trying to one up eachother or they nitpick a part of whatever it is and stick to whining about it. It’s exhausting. Just enjoy what you love, that’s my motto.

@Redskye572 Exactly. I get being passionate about a thing; healthy discussion, valid, constructive criticisms (the meal overcooked, the sauce had no flavour), but don't yuck someone else's yum in public.
