There have been 1,744 reported cases of whooping cough statewide this year, compared with fewer than 300 reported cases all of last year.
Infants are severely at risk because they haven't yet been vaccinated.

When I stop to consider all the things that could go wrong with anti-vaxxing.
Lots of home schooling evangelicals are anti-vaxxers. At least around here.
But of course borders won't confine it. At least not for long.
