I put out my ceramic trees in the kitchen. But I am honestly not sure I will do any more. If it weren't for the kids, I probably wouldn't do anything.
My mood is kind of foul today. I walked, that helped. I vistied my sis for a bit, ranted and vented to her. Bless her having me for a sister and my sometimes foul moods. When i get like this, I don't even want to be around me.
Lines from Home for the Holidays (one of my fav movies) express my current holiday mood:
"I'm giving thanks we don't have to go through this for another year. Except we do, because those bastards went and put Christmas right in the middle just to punish us."
Holiday stress on top of real life stress has me so scattered I can't focus long enough to form a coherent thought - just what the chaos makers want.
I realize that and I'm not letting them win that battle.

We don’t have to do the same thing every year. This year try something new, less complicated, easier.
The perfect holiday is a myth.
Gift your loved ones with real joy of the season 🌲
I'm trying. Really trying. 💪
Maybe allow your Inner Child to have the reigns?
Carmel popcorn balls in festive wrap? Fancy bread, cookies, candy in reusable non-plastic containers.
I’m making Apple Cider bread for my son & family for Thanksgiving breakfast. I will serve it on the orange plate I got for $1 while thrifting. Here w/Halloween cookies.
I’m trying my hand at homemade truffles in cups I bought for $1 each at Habitat ReStore.
This year I’m all about fun not self-inflicted stress. ♥️
Wonderful and yummy ideas! Now you have me thinking.... 🤔
Be creative!

Call me if you feel like it. I’m doing several things today to create peace in my life. With each project, I’m feeling better.
Your early post opened the door for me. 💋
