The leaves have almost turned completely this week. And then time for raking.
@CinnamonGirlE I bought myself a shredding lawn vac, it may be the best gift I’ve ever given myself, but I’ve yet to find that out. I certainly hope that’s the case.

@CinnamonGirlE well we shall see. I purposely bought an electric one because I have the cordage to accommodate that and it will never run out of battery. It also has metal components to shred the leaves.

Sometimes they mow mine up as well. Not nearly as many trees to deal with as I used to have. But still plenty.

I prefer my sons do it, like when they were young. But they have their own lawns and lives now, lol.

He is also the same one you want for surgery. And other meticulous things. Paying attention to details and doing things right, is never wrong.
@CinnamonGirlE I agree with all of that. Sometimes it feels like our generation was raised with that paradigm, whereas others behind us do not follow that principle.

@CinnamonGirlE of course it’s not anywhere near that percentage. No sweeping generalizations ever are. Some of it is age related as well. Yet, like you, I took my job in the hospital dead serious. We had to otherwise they would fire both of our asses.

@catlynne333 Ha ha just because of the leaves? I live in an HOA now, my next-door neighbor has a dead car in the driveway going on 16 years. My entire life even from a child up has included living next-door to a dead car in the driveway. I have now just resigned myself to that being fate.
