My 92 year old grandmother had her second bump up and stopped driving.
A few months after this, she called my dad one night and asked him to help her cut her car lights off.
"Mom, we sold your car several months ago, remember?"
Grandma "I know, I bought a new one today"

Dad had to hire a lawyer to get the dealership to take it back.
No one controlled her but her, ever.
