If my Dad were still alive, I would ask him plenty things about life in general. We used to discuss politics and he was very informative. I miss that...I miss him.

Sigh... Maybe someday they'll maybe see what I see... But I doubt it...
@InvaderGzim @CinnamonGirlE when I was 13, though, it was different. Early to mid teen years, don't expect your kids to ask you much. They know everything that pertains to their life now.
In later teens, by the time they are 19, it will be be a time when they need to know adult stuff so they'll come to you.

For myself, and my kids I have seen. You go through a period of your parent knows everything, they know nothing, and then in a few years, they have learned so much again! 😂
