After 10 hours of personal hell in Mission ER, I can attest to utter incompetence, no continuity of care, no medical records updated, telling my son surgery was scheduled for following day then releasing me, over-medicating with opioids resulting in broken rib from vomiting at home, no record of my previously submitted medical POA, no water over 10 hrs and more .
I am filing a complaint.
@LnzyHou please do. I hope this horrific situation is repaired. Mission used to be a premiere hospital. What a crime they have committed.
I had excellent ER & surgical care at Mission before it went for-profit.
Begged ambulance staff not to take me there when I fell. They said they couldn’t leave Buncombe county to get to Advent.
