'What stage of capitalism is this?': Viewers slam Kellogg's CEO after he advertised cereal for dinner to make meals 'more affordable'

@Booga
That is for sure.
Glad the CNBC host didn't let it slide (too much that isj). It'd have been even better if they had followed up with, "What's your proof of this?" when the a-hold said his idea has been well received."
"The CNBC host pushed back on this idea, saying, “I’m all for innovation in marketing, but the idea of having cereal for dinner — is there the potential for that to land the wrong way?'”
@see_the_sus
I liked that as well. I also liked cereal for supper when I are such. It was easy. But I don't think any of us believe that is a viable or healthy alternative to save money.
packaged ready to eat cereal is not cheap.
oatmeal perhaps, since it could be the carb portion. it's nutritious, but corn flakes? nope🖕🏽
@holon42
I know, right? I remember buying it when kids were in the house. It was expensive then!
If I eat big meal at lunch, I will periodically eat cereal for dinner. But ludicrous to call that a “more affordable” strategy.
@LnzyHou
I used to as well when I kept it in the house. Was it easy? yes. Affordable or healthy? nope.
Someone suggest his and his buddies' luxury yachts would make nice affordable housing ... maybe they should donate them... a solution for those under economic pressure!
@CinnamonGirlE this is late stage we all gonna die, capitalism.
The good news is that somebody is going to make some money when you do die.
