@tyote It doesn't have to be that way, especially within a family. I have friends that are more than three decades my friends, not as many as I'd like but a few.
@MidnightRider
Two of my best friends I have had for over 50 years, a looong time. Since we were toddlers.the other two? For over 30 years. I feel lucky. They are my sisters.
@tyote
@MidnightRider
The two I have that are so long standing, are both neighbors and classmates. The other two I met in nursing school. They are the real deal. Been there for me in hard times, and me them.
@tyote
@MidnightRider @tyote They definitely do. Glad to see they finally passed the law for vets to get their meds and some help. I had an uncle with died with complications of agent orange and a friend also. They suffered.
@CinnamonGirlE @tyote Similarly, if mushrooms, mdma or anything else can help their mental anguish? Give it to them! You weren't concerned about soaking them in agent orange but you're going to get all concerned about drug therapies?
@MidnightRider completely agree. I also feel marijuana should be legalized.
@tyote
@CinnamonGirlE @tyote Having it half legal is like prohibition 2.0
@MidnightRider
Honestly, it's ridiculous. I have no issues with alcohol. But I think it causes far more problems. @tyote
@CinnamonGirlE @tyote Those are the hard goodbyes, two of my best who lived close enough to go see both died. One was a medic, white horse division, Vietnam. He died from heart related damage due to agent orange exposure crawling out to save soldiers. As you might imagine he was an amazing leader, wise guy too, like me. I typed that to say this: our country owes men who died for rich men's chess any medicine they need, period, mike drop.
