Oh boy....I just got a request from someone to connect on LinkedIn! TOTALLY unexpected request from this particular person! I am actually in a dilemma here! What to do? Do I dare go down that path again? I have forgiven, but I have also moved on...I need a sign if I should accept and respond to their message. Universe PLEASE give me a sign if I should reconnect with this person!

Only you can make that decision. Being family makes it hard. I have learned the hard way, that letting people back in after they hurt me was a mistake. But we each have to do what is right for us.
@CinnamonGirlE @AllenChinn I know. My aunt is 81. I know exactly what you mean. I spoke with my husband. We agree, if the conversation starts to go sideways, that's it. I also know that it is something my mom would want. I want to be a kind human. I have forgiven them, but I will never forget. I have not had any contact with any of my extended family since 2010. I have my family with my husband and his family. I am blessed.

@CinnamonGirlE @AllenChinn Yes, that is why I talked with my husband. He is not keen on my family, which is understandable. So, we agreed on this plan. I will only converse with this cousin and my aunt. There will be no discussion of other cousins, since all of our aunts/uncles are all deceased. If they don't respect my boundaries, conversation is over. My life has been very happy without them for 13 years. I plan on maintaining my peace and self respect. Thank you for your well wishes! 💛✨️💛
