Some here didn't close either. You have to be from the south. I am. I was already discouraged when trump won the election, etc. So dissatisfaction was growing. But when Covid came and was politicized. I was fighting that everyday at work with patients, and now I had to be minimized for believing in science? I had long learned how to live as a liberal in a Red Sea, but suddenly the hate was everywhere. I could no longer excuse it in any way. And now I don't.
@CinnamonGirlE @Oma_Trisha Church has left a bad taste in my mouth as well. I still love and believe God, but these callous hypocrites that have no regard for humanity or love for fellow humans don't follow God's teachings. I continue to pray and learn about what it means to live the want God wants us to, it just won't be in a church any time soon.

Same here Chris, sadly. God doesn't hate what or who he created. And he doesn't want us to either.
