@StillDizzy Better than the patient on the x-ray table. Or your wife I guess, as I am not having to care for him. #retired nurse
@CinnamonGirlE she works for a large group of orthopedic surgeons. One of the dr's did cpr. The dude is ok and now at the hospital.
@StillDizzy I worked at an ortho office for a while. Never had a patient have that kind of issue while I was there, but did have a patient fully code years before on a treadmill doing a stress test, while I was working at a multi-physician practice. He lived for many more years. Glad the dude is ok. And your wife.
@CinnamonGirlE wife is ok. Says it was nice to see how all the dr's reacted and helped. Worse things have happened at her work.
@StillDizzy Yes, always nice when we work like a well-oiled machine. Yes, in medicine, you never know what the day will bring. Never boring.
@StillDizzy Oh my God, I always worried about that. I am so sorry. I was a nurse practitioner for the last part of my career, and always worried about a patient getting mad. I never gave many opioids, but in ortho, patients need pain meds. Wow, that stinks. The world is a crazy place. Tell her to stay safe.
