option to block you from looking at users follows/follow list has been available for a long time though
"hide my network" via preferences
no one can see the users i follow or who follow me because i have toggled that setting on
the number count is different meaning it will just be the number that isn't visible you can still users follow/follows list if they haven't toggled hide my network on
