People talk about the inner voice(s) heard in their heads but sometimes it can be difficult to explain to others who don’t experience it.
Trying to end this latest short bout of insomnia, I said a few prayers just now. At the end I added, “I’m happy to know you, God.”
Inner voice: You don’t really know him.
I added a sassy wink in my head.
Different inner voice: Wink, wink
Me: You guys are not funny.
Needless to say, the insomnia has not ended yet.
Yes, this is a non-stop adventure.🥸

@ChippySuave I argue with myself in my head, too. I wish my self would stop picking arguments in the middle of the night, though.
