My daughter was working out on her deck yesterday when a little finch landed near her - and stayed. She quickly realized it wasn't doing very well & thought it was missing an eye.
She made a little buddy & nursed it for the afternoon till she found a wildlife rehab place that could take it.
That little bird stuck to her like glue. It's like it knew it found a safe place and a safe person.
She did find a place that could properly care for it & release it when it's better. 💜
My girl, I tell ya........she visited the wildlife rehab facility to check on the finch. Love that girl. 💜
The wildlife rehab facility reported to her the finch is on meds until August 28. Conjunctivitis is the diagnosis.
She also was told she will be able to pick it up for release into their own backyard soon after.
This story, it just warms my heart. 💜

It's something, isn't it, when just one kind gesture can clear the way for the healing of another. We need to pay attention to that more often.
