This place is a veritable oasis from the soc media world at large. We are individuals with varied interests from around the world. Art, music, writing, tech, legal, finance, medical, sports, animals, crafts. Support, kindness, guidance, friendship. People talk about current events or their daily lives. Offer help. Share tips. Because <1% are rude, we have become a family of sorts. We do ask you use #tags or the content warning

@SheilaKnoxxx I would also add that in a poll from a few years ago, the majority of users are between ages 30 and 60. The field seems to trend left of center, but extremely so. We do have more conservative users. But again, this is where CoSo is so unique. We actually exhibit adultlike behaviors with reading comprehension and sensible discussions.
Rarely is rudeness tolerated. Trolls and Bots are removed within minutes.
You also have tools to mute or block any person.

@ChippySuave Well, I'm probably in the middle. I have some very conservative values and in other areas I am very liberal. I try to get along with everyone and I try to be respectful and courteous to everyone.
