Can we talk about how right wing news and shock radio has been fermenting the seeds of distrust, fear, and hatred for decades? DECADES! The seeds have now sprouted like nasty weeds.. everywhere all at once.

@Tattoomonkey29 Still, what goes up must come down. Some of those warning shots could still injure or kill people.
OTOH, we had old Mr. Sears down the street who would chase kids off his lawn by waving a pitchfork in the air.
@ChippySuave That's true but at least people weren't shooting directly kids, except for the salt rock guy who actually chilled out after my moms best friend the Deputy Sheriff had a chat with him after one of the boys caught a good chunk of rock salt and was bruised, in his defense though they were tormenting him !
@ChippySuave Whatever happened to "warning shots" fired up into the air, when I was a kid we had a few neighbors that would do that because we'd ride horses through their pastures. One mean old man kept his shotgun loaded with saltrock and more than once someone's horse got hit in the ass and bolted, Not that it's okay to fire anything at anyone but warning shots totally turned us toward home and fast!!
