This video reminded me of my dad whose parents emigrated from Poland in 1905. By the time he was as adult he had PTSD, anxiety, and depression, which he typically treated at home with alcohol. My dad traveled to a different city and paid cash for psych treatment to keep his job and save face.
My wish is that it gets easier for everyone. Including you.
@ChippySuave I come from an Indian family myself, and I have an education in psychology (to my family's great dismay). I've been told "therapy isn't for us, it's for those other people."
And I've also been dismissed by family members because I have degrees in psychology, and not a medical degree. lol
I'm intimately familiar with the Indian demographic and how we treat psychology, therapy, and mental health in general sadly.
