In this difficult situation?
In the middle of a horrible mass shooting?
In this deplorable hellscape?
In this agonizingly devastating, too many times repeated, yet grossly ignored fuckery?

Come on!!! We all know what the person was thinking! "Holy hell, I hope I get out of this alive!"

Followed by, "Fuck! I may never see my loved ones again."

And then, "Why the fuck is this happening?"

Why? Why is it happening? Why do we continue to allow this to happen?

Call me crazy, but I think "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." should supersede "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

And besides, we know that that no one in a place of power actually takes this shit seriously enough to care. How can I tell.. look on what we place our emphasis and budgetary dollars.
