CoSoFamily that sees a hair dresser, do you think $185 is a lot to pay for a root touch up (no foils), a trim and blow dry? That’s before tip.

I love my hair girl but the cost has gone up significantly and I feel like it’s too much. Thoughts?

@MrsSpear I realize costs could vary for experience and location. My hairdresser charges $55 for a wash, cut & dry. I have a lot of hair and it usually takes 45-60 minutes to cut my hair. My daughter has similar hair, same price. But when my daughter gets her hair colored, it involves bleaching back to the roots & foil coloring along with the haircut and it costs $225.
Personally, I have used box coloring for decades. Covering the gray would be too expensive at the hairdresser at this point.
