You know you're tired when instead of sprinkling cinnamon on the chopped up apples, you use Hot Mexican Style Chili Powder.
In my defense, all the McCormick seasoning bottles look the same. And at least I caught the mistake before taking a bite. 😬

Might sound a little wacky, but I'd toss those chili apples in with a batch of carnitas or other savory dish.
