@paxterrarum I am pretty sure its been there! I think it somehow scrubs other stuff from the photo like location etc. Maybe I am imagining i heard that.
@th3j35t3r Just out of curiosity, why do we scrub out exif/meta data. I thought that was photo/camera info.. does it hurt anything to keep it? Is it
for personal security? @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @paxterrarum
@th3j35t3r See? this is why I ask. I thought it was just camera settings. @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @paxterrarum

Another time-saving security feature.
@ChippySuave @th3j35t3r @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @paxterrarum Exif/meta data can have a shocking amount of information - not just camera/photo info. It can have your name, address, phone number, location information including actual GPS... and it’s not just standard cameras - it’s in your phone’s camera data, too. If anything, phone photos can have more info based on how we use them. @th3j35ter has been very thoughtful!
I figured J had a good reason, I just needed to know what it was. LOL @Autumn @th3j35t3r @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @paxterrarum
@ChippySuave @Autumn @th3j35t3r @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @paxterrarum Doggone it!! Now I have to learn about something new!! Sheesh -- will it 'ever' stop??? <chuckle>
@ChippySuave @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @paxterrarum
It can contain all kinds of info, including location, device type, filenames etc etc
