Yep or in the search field. If on desktop, you can "pin" any hashtag search result as a column.
As for notifications, we don't do that here. You have a notification icon you check "manually". Part of the social media experiment that is CoSo is making it a place you want to be a part of, vs the SM nagging you for attention.

Definitely a difference. If you're using the app, it's "simplified." If you're using the browser on your phone, turn it to landscape mode and you'll see the columns. But it's still better on desktop when in column mode.
Like in this video (android using a browser). So, it depends on how much or how little you want. You can pin and unpin columns, and add multiple tags to one column (for ex, I have one that's all yarn related hashtags - knitting, crochet, etc).
