apparently dems are just as susceptible to rejecting truth when it interferes with their preferred narrative
@CdnChrisCo human nature is what it is despite the boxes we put ourselves in. That said, what makes this apparent about dems?

the ones I've met in person have all been fact/ truth/ science people, able to adjust to a changing knowledge base
I keep running into dems online however that react not much differently than maga's when confronted with an uncomfortable truth - anger, resentment and rejection
ergo , it would seem to be true {apparent) that reason is not a common foundation for democratic voters
@CdnChrisCo that makes sense. People have issues no matter what their politics, and online forums do not bring out the best in people. If only people could see that the truth—so to speak—is in the middle and not take their opinions so seriously. It took me a long time to figure this out myself thou. Extreme left or right is not good for any of us, let alone all of us. Thx for responding.
