@LnzyHou I feel you...literally!
Cervical Radiculitis and Radiculopathy...multiple burst discs and bone spurs pressing on the spinal cord in my neck, as well as numerous foramen occlusions pressing on the nerves leading into the spinal cord.
On good days, I can take half a percocet in the morning & the other half in the evening, and keep the pain at bay...on bad days (rain/pressure changes) I take several, washing them down with generic nyquil, and take a coma.
We haven’t started diagnosing/treating my neck yet. Used to get traction on neck which really helped.
Lower back preventing me from even 1 mile walk. Top priority now.
@LnzyHou Here's hoping the MRI will show the docs what they need in order to get you relief ASAP...when my neurosurgeon was going over mine with me, he visibly winced more than once...not a good sign...
...then he saw a different disc juncture that apparently is quite problematic...his words were "O hell, that's bad...you see this part here? If you took a bad enough hit there, you'd be paralyzed, like from the neck down." 😶😳😢
So he advised holding off on the spinal fusion...

Nope. Not happening.
@LnzyHou @Avidspark I know some things … I keep these on my phone as Cliff’s Notes for new medical providers. Context matters.
OMG.
I can hardly look. Wish I hadn’t looked at my own X-rays. My last two vertebra seem to be buried in each other.
@LnzyHou @Avidspark to keep this brief, let’s just say it was a trade off. Too many details involved.
@CanisPundit did you break your back at some point?
@JanetZumba_FalPals @LnzyHou @Avidspark car accidents (plural) and time.
@CanisPundit I am glad you are healed.
@JanetZumba_FalPals @LnzyHou @Avidspark “healed”? its a ongoing process that is ultimately a trade off of intensity. I’m just being blunt and realistic, don’t let that assessment discourage surgical intervention. Your mileage may vary.
@JanetZumba_FalPals @LnzyHou @Avidspark duct tape. 🤪
