It's really interesting... I put a trail of peanuts all the way along the top rail of my deck. There is a group of California Scrub Jays now living in my Washington giant fir tree. The Jays spend all their time dive bombing each other instead of getting a different peanut. When the Juncos (little birds) fly in for scattered bird seed... they make room for each other and everyone chows down.
