Similarly I imagine the fake results might lull would be Republican voters into a false sense of security; that they don’t have to wait in line etc. Note Harris portraying herself as “the underdog” to encourage turnout.

@YouInMyEye @Bix it definitely happens and however low life human psychology is always chugging along manifesting human behavior. Consider: Trumpublican instilling mistrust in mail-in voting contributed to Democratic wins such that Trump flip flopped on the topic for this election cycle.
