@MHS_Jenkins and who earns the purity of your vote? Does that person have a path to actually win the presidency or just assuage your conscience? I volunteered for Warren in 2020, but didn’t write her in I voted for Biden. P.S. Warren endorsed Harris. Sanders endorsed Biden for a second term and will likely endorse Harris.

Again, vote however you want but I'm not voting for a prison czar.

@MHS_Jenkins @CanisPundit If anyone was sympathetic or could fix that it would be Harris I would think. Maybe hold off on deciding until she releases some proposals. It's not been even 24 hours yet.
@danielbsmith @CanisPundit With respect, she's had a long career with an equally long track record--including at least one published book--that make her positions clear.
@CanisPundit It's really not about purity and more about human rights and ending the horrible abuses of the prison industry, which includes our nation's ongoing treatment of its southern border. If you're comfortable keeping (predominantly African-American) folks in prison for no reason other than profit, that's your choice to make.
