@Bix My wife and I just bought our first EV. Several years ago, before Musk stumbled across the line separating genius from insanity, we would have considered buying a Tesla. Now, purchasing a Tesla wasn't an option. We ended up with a Chevy Bolt and love it.

It would be great if there were more EV's to choose from in its price / battery range.
@Bix We neither wanted nor needed an EV SUV or pickup truck. That really limited our options since a Tesla wasn't in the mix. Our choice came down to either a Nissan Leaf or the Bolt. The Bolt had a longer range than the Leaf, and it came in red, which was the color my wife wanted, so the choice was pretty simple.

Nissan finally got the Leaf right with its expanded battery range, and they went killed the model
