Speaking of Ovations...
Couple of weeks ago, I'm scrolling ebay, and an image of what I take to be an Adamas (you know, the model with the weirdo multi sound holes).
Except it isn't. It's some knockoff, and it is selling new, with delivery, for like $92.
I am addicted to peculiar guitars.
So, I really had no choice.
And: Yes. It IS playable.
Not a quality instrument.
But it can hold pitch, action and intonation are playable.

$100? I'd raise the action up a little bit and play slide with that bad boy.

I'm going to replace the bridge pins (they are atrocious enough that they really do need to go) and of course, restring it, and then I'll do a little audio sample, which I'll post here.
Seriously, though this thing IS playable; I'm quite surprised!

@frankp @countZZero I use Pearse solid brass bridge pins. They’re a little bit larger than what is on their site. It’s a noticeable, but not amazing difference (a little more attack & volume on both guitars with them, and a little more top end to one that benefited from more top end).
