Montreal things: there is a company who’s main business is these little poles. Can any of you not from here guess what they’re for?
@BarelyAwake WINNER!!
@Camerondotca I was going to say to make pedestrians more visible but yeah, SNOW PLOWS is probably it. We don't get quite *that* much snow where I am to need them 😄
@artisanrox The street is brandnew.. like they are not even finished rebuidling it. So they're going hard at fixing it and keeping it nice.
@Camerondotca So cars don't hit the medians?
@HealingHobbit snow removal mostly but yeah mostly that.
@Camerondotca anti-homeless Tom fuckry?
@BosmangBeratna nope. It's so the snow removal crews don't destroy the curbs or run onto the bike paths.
@Camerondotca see, that was my ignorance, cynical side AND bias, all in one. 💜🌄
I like being schooled. ✊️
@BosmangBeratna Oh don't worry, we have A CRAPTON of hostile architecture here. middle of bench armrests, "pigeon spikes", anti railslide things..
@Camerondotca nothing is more heartbreaking than the continued dehumanization of our communities' most vulnerable. Reminds me of the subtext of hegemonic hellscape. Idk if this is political or not, but I'm marking it #politics.
@BosmangBeratna it’s 100% political
@Camerondotca and that's so sad. 💔💜
@Camerondotca Snow plows! We see similar poles here in the midwest of the US.
