Hyacinthoides Non-Scripta
When you ring the bluebells
The fairies come to witness
But do not pick those flowers
For
They bring
But death and sickness
Poisonous
When chewed or sipped
They symbolise
Eternal love,
Humility, truth and sadness
But when I see them
On my walk
My spirits lift
With gladness
Do not pick the bluebells
Eternal love
Should not
Be ripped
From where
Chance chose
To root it!
